Tuition Scholarship Program for Spouses, Domestic Partners and Eligible Children

 

 

A scholarship for 50% of resident tuition for regular, on-campus credits is available to eligible family members of Academic Faculty and Administrative Professionals with regular, special, multi-year research, or transitional appointments of half-time (0.5) or greater and all non-temporary State Classified appointments of half-time (0.5) or greater.

The application for Summer 2012 is available below or from Student Financial Services, Centennial Hall; or from the Benefits Office, 210 Howes Street Business Center, 555 South Howes. The application for Fall 2012/Spring 2013 will be available in August.

Tuition Scholarship Application  NOTE: The Certification of Dependency form (page 2 of the application) must be completed by employees for domestic partners or children. The Certification of Dependency form does not need to be completed for spouses.

The scholarship will be processed after Census date* each semester because individual enrollment can fluctuate until Census date*.

 

- Undergraduate students


The scholarship is equal to 50% of student’s share of base tuition for in-state, regular on-campus credits, including 50% of Differential Tuition charges. Student’s share of base tuition is base tuition minus the College Opportunity Fund stipend. The amount is rounded to the nearest dollar and will be determined after Census date* each semester. The amount does not include 50% of Program Charges.


- Graduate students


The scholarship is equal to 50% of Colorado Resident Graduate Tuition. The amount is rounded to the nearest dollar and will be determined after Census date* each semester. The amount does not include 50% of Program Charges.


- Professional Veterinary Medicine (PVM) students

The scholarship is equal to 50% of Colorado Resident Graduate Tuition (not PV Medicine Tuition). The amount is rounded to the nearest dollar and will be determined after Census date* each semester.


NOTES:

-The scholarship is equal to 50% of resident in-state tuition (even if student is classified as a non-resident/out-of-state for tuition purposes) as described above, not including fees.

-The amount for PVM students is 50% of Colorado Resident Graduate Tuition (not PVM Tuition).

-The amount includes 50% of Differential Tuition.

-The amount does not include 50% of Program Charges.

*Census date is the end of the regular schedule change (add/drop) period and is June 20,2012 for Summer 2012.

The student must be enrolled in regular on-campus credits. The following are not considered regular on-campus credits: Test-Out, Advanced Placement, CSU Online Plus (Continuing Education), and Study Abroad credits. The student must be admitted to a degree-seeking program, Teacher Certification, or Principal Licensure at Colorado State University in Fort Collins.

This scholarship is not automatically renewed; it must be applied for each year, with a separate application for summer if the student is attending in the summer.
